A Country House Hotel by the Sea.
Imagine your perfect Cornish beach hotel. Privately owned and run, Trevalsa is stylish, comfortable and informal.
Wake to the cry of gulls and the sight and sound of the sea. Enjoy the freshest and the best of local food. Laze in our tranquil gardens, watching the boats - or if you are lucky, dolphins - glide by. Venture down the steps to our secluded cove, the haunt of oystercatchers and the occasional seal, perhaps to swim in its turquoise waters or dabble in the rock pools. Saunter along the Coast Path to the harbour as the boats bring home your supper. Wander through the Lost Gardens of Heligan, be amazed by the beauty of Caerhays Castle and its magnolias, or stunned by the scale of the Eden Project.
So much to do. No need to do anything!
Whether you are looking for a special romantic break, a base for exploring Cornwall or a family beachside holiday, Trevalsa is the perfect boutique hotel, with the perfect location.
Rooms
Most rooms have stunning sea views. Some are stylishly simple, others romantically glamorous. All with immaculate bathrooms, hospitality trays, TVs and DVD players.

Restaurant
Really fresh fish, often caught that day, is a delight. Locally reared meat, fed only what is grown on the farm. Locally made dairy products - do you know how many Cornish cheeses there are? Local soft fruits and vegetables, picked and eaten whilst they are at their best. These are lost tastes that Cornwall is reviving. With such an abundance of fine tasting local produce, we keep our menus simple but interesting.
Meals may be eaten in our romantic, oak panelled restaurant with views over the gardens to the sea, or on warm days and evenings, on the terrace. Early suppers can be provided for young children and picnics packed for days out.

Golf and diving is available nearby and painting courses can be arranged.
An Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, south Cornwall enjoys a wonderfully mild climate, early springs and late autumns. Frosts are rare and even in mid winter there are bright, mild days, pleasant for walking.
